I'm I right on this, Dave?
Absolutely. Getting cut most of the time is a glancing blow. Not to say that cuts don't happen from getting smashed but I've seen fighters get one or two small cuts but they look like they've been through a meat tenderizer and still fight like it's nothing. Perfect example is Josh Neer vs. Melvin Guillard, UFC ultimate Fight Night 3. Melvin Guillard had Neer's face looking like crap and then Guillard cut Neer bad, had to stop the fight for the doctors to look at it. Guillard was being stupid and got choked and Neer was walking around fine after the fight like nothing happened.

Hell, I've gotten kneed in the face and had to get stiches and it didn't hurt as much as I thought it was going to.
