Kimbo is big and very experienced, but this smaller Petruzzelli fellow may simply have better punches or even better neuromuscular recruitment for doing such.

It's no different than a smaller man lifting heavier weight; if his neuromuscular recruitment is better, than he WILL be stronger. Petruzelli (at least at that time) was simply the BETTER fighter.

(No disrepect to Kimbo, by the way.)
