Default Is 1/2 hour not long enough between post workout shake and meal?

Ill have my post workout shake immediately after my workout. Due to work changes I do 4-5 hour shifts and I can not take a break long enough to get a meal in.
So my only options is to eat right before I start work (which will be 1/2 hour after my post workout shake).

Is that not long enough to leave?

I would do that Fryzie, especially if that is the difference between a meal and no meal. Normally I'd want 45 minutes to an hour but that's just a guideline anyway. In this case you gotta do what you gotta do.

If you don't have a preworkout plan then get one. Carbs and protein before you're workout will make the post workout and the time between the meals less important.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.
