why dont u order protien online? it will probably be much better than buying it at a store a much wider selection with much cheaper prices. as far as low carbs and low fat how about a can of tuna in water lots of protien, but keep in mind that not all fats are bad for u

Good grief Charlie Brown. Buy your protein at either trueprotein.com or the protein factory. Dirt cheap and you can create your own specialty blend. You can survive without protein powder of course, but your body needs protein as fast as possible directly after training. Other than that critical time, go with cottage cheese, tuna, steak, egg whites, ect....

Chicken breasts are good protein, too. ~23g / 3 oz I think. I throw a couple on my George Foreman Grill for 6-8 mins and they are great!

(BTW--I think the George Foreman Grill has to be one of the best inventions ever! No much counter space, easy to clean, cooks both sides at the same time. And, no, I don't work for the company--this is a totally unsolicited endorsement)

I just tried going to www.trueprotein.com and it couldn't connect to server. I even tried it thru Google. Is the site still opational? Maybe just a temporary server problem.

Yeah, just got onto "trueprotein". They must have had it down for a bit (all other sites worked).

Taking a serving a little before bed is good, too.
