Start Now is right in terms of the digestability of it, because corn is a starch and starchy foods are harder to digest than other foods. However, corn can be a beneficial protein substitute. When you combine beans with corn you make whats called a Complete Protein. Complete proteins contain lots of all of the essential amino acids, (which is important to building muscle). Complete proteins are found in foods like: meat, fish, chicken, cheese, eggs, and milk. So this is one way you can create a protein source if you don't have access to the foods listed above, or your looking for a high quality substitute for meat.
