Good question. I heard that corn and corn products are not good for your body. Something about the body cannot digest them really good.

I eat a little like corn on the cob during the summer but try to avoid anything with corn in it.

It is up to you. One thing you can do is think about how you feel the next day after eating something. If you feel like crap or notice a let down in your workout -- it could be your body telling you that it doesn't like what you ate the previous day...

Start Now is right in terms of the digestability of it, because corn is a starch and starchy foods are harder to digest than other foods. However, corn can be a beneficial protein substitute. When you combine beans with corn you make whats called a Complete Protein. Complete proteins contain lots of all of the essential amino acids, (which is important to building muscle). Complete proteins are found in foods like: meat, fish, chicken, cheese, eggs, and milk. So this is one way you can create a protein source if you don't have access to the foods listed above, or your looking for a high quality substitute for meat.
