Default Soy based pasta (?)

Has anyone seen or tried soy based pasta? I saw it in the grocery store today. It has 28g of protein and only 18g of carbs in a serving. There's 6 servings in a 1# bag.

If you've tried it, how does it taste? I'm just try to get some reviews before I drop 3 bucks on a bag of pasta. Still, it's only $0.02 per gram or protein.

Is the 18 grams of carbs after fiber deductions? That seems incredibly low for pasta.
Let me know how it is, I currently eat whole wheat pasta when I have a craving and absolutely love it compared to regular pasta. I just can't see soy pasta tasting that good.

No, but I did a search for what I saw in the store and this is the link: http://www.vitacost.com/Store/Produc...er&src=bizrate

I may try it tomorrow. However, I'm not sure if I want to try it w/ my meat sauce or w/ just regular ol' sauce.

seems like a good idea, but i wouldnt make a habbit out of eating it. Soy protien has been linked to increased estrogen levels for those in ingest it regularly (cant find the link i was looking for sorry).

And depending on taste, I say if your gonna eat pasta, eat good pasta and enjoy it. but if it tastes good have at it hoss.
