Default deconditioning nutrition

I'm taking a few weeks off for strategic deconditioning but I feel like my current bulking diet would just make me fat without any workout time. What would you guys recommend for a deconditioning diet? Right now I'm just planning to follow a moderately strict cutting diet.

Keep your protein high and cut down on the carbs a bit. I would say drop carbs by 10-15%.

However, unless you gain weight (fat) very easily, then I would keep your diet the same so you're still used to eating when you're lifting again. Coming out of 2-3 weeks of SD and instantly raising your intake by 500-1000 calories or probably more could adversely affect your lifting capability (ie. working out while feeling bloated, nauseous, or having a lack of energy).

If you gain weight easily then follow the start of the post, if not follow the second part. My $0.02 on the matter.
