Default Does V8 V.Fusion drink really count as a serving of veggies?

Hey guys, I know I need to add some veggies into my diet, but I have a very difficult time doing it. I've tried dozens of brands of frozen and fresh veggies and I just don't enjoy them. So I saw this in the supermarket today as I was picking some stuff up and was hoping it would be somewhat of a replacement. Info on the drinks can be found here. So can someone tell me if this is a good idea, or if it's just a waste of money.

Thanks ;)

well...apparently my old landlord cured his stomach cancer with a juicer.

I'd say just man up and eat your veggies. It's a little bit easier for me, as I like a lot of 'em, but still, just get creative if you have to. Before I learned to like veggies, I used to pop a few veggies in my mouth and take a big bite of steak, then just focus on the steak. Anything you can do, bro.

Those drinks probably aren't so bad, but there's nothing like the real thing: check the sodium content on those drinks.

Dam, don't you guys ever give the easy answer that I want to hear?

Here's the nutrition info. Doesn't look bad at all. I usually drink a glass of cranberry juice in the morning with my eggs. I was thinking switching to this would be a better choice even if it's not as good as the real thing. Can we atleast agree on that?

Also, there's no added sugar to these drinks, and here's the juices in the drink...

Hmm, I thought the sodium content was a lot higher than that... since the damn things are salty as hell. That's definitely better than cranberry juice, though. ("My girlfriend used to drink cranberry juice when she was on her period..." )

I'm gonna stop drinking cranberry just so I never have to hear that comment again.

This stuff isn't the old red colored V8 crap. This is their newer blend of different crap. lol So you might be thinking of the wrong crap.

i would think the best way to go is just manning up and eating the veggies, a suggestion for doign that is making that the first thing you eat in the meal before you even touch the rest. like i hate doing ab work so i make that the first part of my workout. i kwno i wont do it if i leave it for later.

so you know if you have asteak on your plate you will eat that, so eat the veggies first and get it out the way. this isnt a super answer to your question but you cna give it a try
