I've had Blue Diamond almonds but never the flavored ones, I'll have to check them out as long as they don't extra crap added to them. Usually I just get bulk Roasted Tamari almonds from Whole Foods, a little expensive but if you use my trick of just writing down a cheaper bin number then you can save yourself like $3 a pound.

I got three cans of Blue Diamond flavored almonds right now. They've been one of my favorites for years. Of course there is extra stuff in the flavoring...not all of it exactly healthy, but probalby not a big deal overall. Like probably the worse thing in the jalepeno smokehouse is the smoke flavoring. Theres maltodextrin but I doubt very much it's enough to amount to anything.

LOL, at the cheaper bin number.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

It's a little high in the sodium department but other than that it's very close to regular almonds. I just tried the Blue Diamond Wasabi & Soy Sauce Alomonds and they are WAY better than the Emerald Wasabi ones. The added soy sauce flavor helps.

True dat. I admit I don't pay much attention to sodium.

Eric - hate to interrupt this almond-related discussion, but what is the downside of having too much sodium? I admit I don't really consider it too much either in the offseason, albeit in-season it seems to keep me from sweating as much as I need to (heightened water retention, isn't that part of its effects?)

Also Sleazy - haha, I need to try that!
