My chow hall was good. Lucky me. It was like a restaurant inside and the food in general was pretty darn decent. When I went to other chow halls I was floored by how bad they were. But hell, I was such an eating machine back then I would have 5 MRE's a day when I was on TDY. Can you imagine the calories

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Must have been nice Eric. The chow hall at Lackland AFB was decent and the one at Keesler AFB was awesome! A lot like the way you described yours...but the chow hall at Minot AFB sucks bad. It is tiny and the selection is crap and the people who work there just suck in general...but I guess I wouldnt be too happy if my job was to flip burgers in the chow hall.

Yeah, Keesler is nice in general. Never saw so many squirrels in one place. I actually tamed one and got it to run onto my leg by feeding it peanut M&M's (it buried most of them).

I don't have many fond memories of eating at Lackland, lol. It sucked having to down two whole glasses of water before you were allowed to eat.

LOL, I guess my nostalgia is not contributing to this thread very much.

Oh man lets not get started on Lackland stories cause I could be talking about them forever!

My TI loved to run up to our table durring breakfast right when we would sit down and he would have three glasses of OJ with him. He would tell us that we had to be done with our breakfast by the time he was done with his. He would then chug the first glass of OJ and slam that glass down at which point we knew we had to start eating or we werent going to get any breakfast. Then he would chug the other two before I could barely get three bites in and tell us to GET OUT OF MY DINNING FACILITY!

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.

Hey Johan here is what those chicken slabs look like at my chow hall. I took a picture of my lunch today, so you guys estimate that these are roughly 20grams of protein each?
