Default Healthy Grocery List Generator!

I just created a website that is full of healthy, nutritous recipes. www.healthygrocerylist.com. What makes this site unique is, you select what recipes you want to make each week, and it will generate your grocery list for you! Oh, and it is, and always will be, FREE! Enjoy! Oh, and your feedback on the site is greatly appreciated...

Looks great!

The Bodybuilder section could use a bit more recipes! I love the generate grocery list!

Hope your site continues to remain free!

Thanks for the feedback! I've been getting those recipes in there as quickly as possible. I've only been up and going for about a month now, so it may take a few months to get there, but, we're getting there. There is actually a process for users to enter in their own recipes onto the site, but I don't think I got is as smooth as I would like it.
Any criticisms are highly appreciated, so please, let me have it. I want it to be a site that accomodates everyone's wants and needs.
Thanks for visiting the site...
David

My only criticism is that every section is a "dieting" section. That's making kind of a statement when the site is called health recipes. Dieting, whether good or bad dieting, is just that. While healthy can mean something balanced and moderate. I'm not sure if that is supposed to be the general section or if the general section is about indulging. Also, as I said before the "blood type" diets is complete nonsense.

I see the thing where you say you are trying to include the most popular dietary lifestyles but to me it seems like there is nothing for the more moderate folk out there who just want to eat a healthy balanced diet without adhering to a dietary fad.

But I truly appreciate you're providing a resource like this. It just seems like more of a very specific diet site than something about health. Unless your assumptions about what is health in a general sense are different than mine, in which case fine. It would just not be a good resource for me in particular.

Again, it's much apprectiated, though. The grocery list generateor is a great idea.

Just not sure I get it but please take my comments in the spirit they were given...as honest feedback.

Edit* I see it's called Health Grocery Lists not Healthy Recipes. On the blood type diets if people who believe in that stuff use it that's their business. I think it's pretty silly but it's none of my business.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Eric,
Thanks for the feedback. One of the problems I came across while developing this site was, I was jamming so much time into the functionaity, I couldn't dedicate the time I needed into the "content". I found it pretty easy to take a recipe, and identify which one of the categories I have on the site now the recipe would fall into, so that's why I went with it... And you're right, I will make a category called, "Well Rounded", "Square Meal"? I will have to come up with some criteria for it... If you have suggestions along these lines, please let me know...

I've been asking friends and family to enter some recipes in, but everyone says, "I don't know any healthy recipes"... hence the "General" section.

As far as Blood Type diets go, I have a friend who swears by it... He's always had a sensitive digestive system, but when he started following this, he says he feels fantastic. His energy level is up, he does well at the gym, so I figured I would look into it. The science sounded interesting behind it, and I did do some research into it, and think there is some merit to this, so, we will see what the futrue holds for the blood type approach. (Although, there is some hoaky stuff about personalities, I thought was utter nonsense)

OK... again, thanks for your input. It's well appreciated. Anything else, feel free to drop me a line.
David

That makes sense. I can see how it would be much easier to find recipes fitting these categories.

Now when I say that the blood type diet is pseudo science it is simply because there is no real science behind the blood type thing. But anything can be an improvement that adheres to healthier choices. As far as I know, in general, it emphasizes lean meats and fruits and vegetables. According to what your diet was like before, typically, that could be a definite improvement. That doesn't mean you need imaginary science to come to these healthy foods. While I have no doubt that it is generally healthy it could also be restricting people from other healthy choices based on criteria that are non existant. That doesn't mean I think it's going to kill you
