I'm confused about which protein powder to buy. I read somewhere that whey protein isolate is the best but I see many powders out there with a mixture of isolate and concentrate with concentrate listed first. Also, they have casein and other proteins and not just whey isolate. Some have a blend of three proteins and they say they're better because the three different types release at different times throughout a longer period of time and that's supposed to be better.
I've looked at EAS, Muscle-Link, Omni Nutrition, VPX, GNC, Designer Whey and they all say their the best. I need to lose fat so I have to watch my calorie intake as well. The protein powder would be a good way to increase my protein intake without incresing my calorie intake too much at the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
