Exclamation Help with nutrition please!

Hi, when I first began lifting (about 4 years ago) I was 14, a freshman in high school and I weighed 98lbs. I was around 5'6 in height. Anyways, i began to lift and a year and a half later I was up to 5'8 and 150lbs, I was greatly motivated. There was a slight problem though, I was big and strong but kind of flabby in the mid section. I went to the doctors for a routinely check up and i discovered that i had high cholesterol because i had been consuming so many eggs and supplements like mass XXX. I am now currently 18 and i have been lifting for 4 years (on and off because i was very close to not graduating because i was so focused on my physique and not on my school work. I finally graduated about a month ago and i have decided that it is time to come back to lifting. I am 5'8 1/2 and currently weigh 140lbs. My body type is definitely an ectomorph. I know a lot about lifting and what exercises to do to get to where i want to be but i need help with what to eat. My goal is to get a bigger body mass and then be able to get cut and not look scrawny. I need some tips on what foods to eat, how often i should eat, and maybe some recipes. My mom or dad are never home so i basically have to make something up to eat and sometimes i go a couple of hours without eating. Most of the time i eat unhealthy food like Cup noodles. My house is kind of limited on the variety of food. There are eggs(which i am trying to not consume too often) bread, noodles, turkey slices, peanut butter... anyways i was looking for a couple of foods that i could eat daily to reach my goals, i need ideas because i seriously don't know what to eat anymore. Thank you.
