Mifflin - St Jeor Formula

Men
10 x weight (kg) + 6.25 x height (cm) - 5 x age (y) + 5

Women
10 x weight (kg) + 6.25 x height (cm) - 5 x age (y) - 161

This is more accurate than the Harris Benedict Formula for calculating calories.

Good info for the most part, but I'm curious where you came up with the numbers for PWO protein consumption and the 2-3 grams of protein per pound of body weight? The clinical research suggests far less is needed than anything close to these numbers. -EK

Without consistency – and only for a short period of time – you will never achieve the weight gains that you’re looking for.
