Default deloading phase

hey guys, i have begun a week of strategic deconditioning before i begin my hst cycle, it also serves a week of rest after a very taxing 3 weeks of strength training which has put me near overtraining. I am thinking i should go on a low carb diet, like i do for cutting, for this week off to try and blast off some of the extra fat that has built up during bulking. however i know that my muscles are growing very much at this time so i am wondering if this is or is not a good idea. i am doing cardio during this time as well but not during the actual lifting protocols. thanks.

I assume you're in the "overreaching" stage. If I were you, I would recover and then reduce calories. Someone might else might disagree though. If you reduce calories now, then it will prolong your recovery.

well i'm actually in a positive calorie intake, its just low carbs, idk if that makes a difference or not. If not, what do you recommend for cutting out fat while bulking?

I completely glazed over that fact that you didn't say you were in a negative balance. Low carbing it should be fine, I think.
