Default How is my diet?

I have done some reading from here and other forums. I know my diet is not the greatest in the world, and doesnt really even follow what I should be doing. Im single, almost 20, paying rent and bills myself so I am not making much money for groceries. I work 10 hour shifts so I my workout tends to be in the late evening. im 142 pounds, hard gainer and i need some serious attention to my diet. My diet goes as this:

Meal 1: 8:00 am
Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhich on 7 grain wheat bread
1 Flax Seed Oil Capsul, 1 One-a-day Vitamin, and 1 Fish Oil Capsuls

Meal 2: 11:15 a.m.

Bonless Skinless Chicken Breast.

Meal 3: 3:15 p.m.

Jumbo baked patato w/ butter, steak chilli, and cheese.

Meal 4: 6:00

Chicken Breast

Meal 5: 7:45 (home from work) Pre workout

MuscleMilk Shake 638cal/12gcarbs/32g protien.
I usualy eat something with this rather it be speggetti or something around the house.

Meal 6: 9:00 Post workout

Muscle Milk shake

I tend to find something around the house to eat again.

Now I know I am suppose to read and I have. I just dont know what to supplement in for oatmeal. I dont like to eat oatmeal. Egg whites are too expensive, I live in a rather expensive area so rent is expensive. No roomate either. I believe I am getting enough protien throughout the day and enough calories, I just dont believe I am getting enough carbs and I am evenly distributing it throughout the day. Im serious about gaining weight, but not too serious to the fact that I am mixing all types of crazy different foods together. Simpler the better.
