Default Leigh Peele's FLT package.

Thanks to Eric , I found this on his site and I though if anyone here is interested in Fat Loss / Nutrition they should check out this package. It's only $77 ( 105 CAD ) and well worth it. I bought this yesterday and couldn't believe all the stuff that came with it.

The books are :

OPT for Fat Loss
OPT for Fat Loss Remix
The Water Manual
The Maintenance Manual
The Metabolic Manual
The Fat Loss Troubleshoot

Most of these books are less than 30 pages , but 2 are over 150 pages. For me one of the best things is she includes an audio book of the FLT so you can read along with her.

On top of this you get some meal plans sample diets , logs and troubleshooting Q&A's.

I have yet read anything but have scanned through most and it looks great. Right now I am printing everything out and will put it all in a nice binder. I find it's always great to have a hardcopy.

Here is the link to find this.

I love it.

The thing about book length that I don't think all readers are aware of is that print books tend to be longer because it is a cost thing. Print publishers just won't bother with a book that is too short. It's not worth the high costs associated.

So what you get is a book filled with pictures and "charts" and basically "fluff" of that nature plus a WHOLE lot of repeating the same shit in different words. I know everyone has encountered that.

Since digital books are so big right now I wanted to point that out. When someone publishes an e-book they have no restrictions on length and can therefore just include what is necessary. So a 150 page book is just as good as a 215 page book as far as content. And sometimes better because usability is increase when the reader doesn't have to wave through all the fluff to get to the nuts and bolts.

But I prefer a hard copy as well. I was just talking about the new readers. I want to get a sony reader. Ink for printers is just too expensive.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

I agree and personally for me I love the 30 page books. I can usually read them in one night and not get board or lost (cause I'm slow like that ). Then I don't mind going back in a few days and reading them again. I love it ! Just keeping it simple with all the important information. She could have made this 1 hardcopy book , with most of these other books " the water manual " for example , Being chapters. But then again this book would be close to 500 pages and a lot more money. I like this a lot better.

I also agree with the ink , that's why I waited until I was at work to print them all , LOL !

Thanks for the review TALO. Personally, I'd prefer books to be short and sweet because there's only so much that needs to be said. If you want hundreds of pages, I'll give you one of Lyle's books LOL. I just finished reading his keto book for the third time and it's just starting to sink in.

Wow, I was just looking at the FLT package yesterday.

What is funny is the way I ended up checking it out. I enter nutrition and exercise info on Gyminee and Gyminee supports Twitter. I signed up for Twitter snd added Mike Robertson to my follow list and that led me to adding Leigh Peele to the follow list which got me to look at the FLT package.

I was hoping to just get a copy of just the OPT for Fat Loss rather than the whole package since I already have Venuto's Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle.

I bought the book last night.

I've read the first book: FLT and I spent till the wee hours of the morning reading it.

Damn, I've learned so much just from that book...so much that I am putting into play ASAP.

I think it's a great book and even though I was very apprehensive about spending $77 because after all, I am a poor college student, I definitely believe that it was a worthy investment.

Now comes the difficult task of actually implementing her stuff.

Very cool book so far.

I agree the shorter the better. There is only 2 big books and 1 of them comes with audio so you dont have to read it completely. .

So far I have only read the water book and it's amazing . Tells you just want you need to know about water and sodium loading / depleting.

Once i'm back on nights I will be able to get some more reading in.

In addition to needing to lose fat, I also occasionally have lower back pain. I think I will focus on my back first so I will add Leigh's FLT package to my buy list. Meanwhile, I am blowing this month's budget on a book recommended by Eric Cressey called Ultimate Back Fitness and Performance by Dr. Stuart McGill. I'll provide a review of this book in another thread if anyone is interested.

Never heard of that. Who the heck is Stuart McGill? And who's this Eric Cressey?
