It's not that I'm sick of it. It's that nobody can tell any one indivdual how much their drinking or smoking will affect them. When I see it it seems to me that they have doubts and are looking for validation. My response is designed to point out that this sort of validation is up to the individual. We already know that drinking and smoking is not "good for you".

You guys got to realize, before you get all pissed at me that I've got quite a few years on lots of you. And I had my partying days to the degree you can't imagine. I am not judging. I just put these questions behind me years ago and it would have helped me for someone to say the very same things I am saying.

But the answer is going to remain the same. You drink enough or smoke enough and it's going to impact you. In some way. Hell, haven't you guys ever known any pot burnouts? They don't hit the gym, lol. I think that will affect you gains, you know, sitting on the couch, passing bong, whatching cartoons and not working out. Estrogen be damned.

So maybe my answer would have been more effective if I had said this. If you smoke enough that it gives you doubts about gains in the gym that may be enough to give yourself permission to cut back. It's a general kind of thing. If you were to come on here and say I smoke a joint once a week or once every couple weeks I'd be saying shit, don't worry about it.

Hell, I'd smoke just to increase my appetite once in a while since it sucks.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Yeah I know when I smoked it didnt put me in any type of "training" mood or mentality. I just wanted to be lazy and there isnt anything wrong with that it just doesnt mix with what people are trying to achieve on this forum. I think it just comes down to how serious you are about reaching your goals. If pot holds you back then its not worth it.

i have no problem getting in the gym after smoking b/c i know i cant miss a day. Im not going to stop smoking because of a motivation problem....that will never be an issue to me. I will stop smoking if it affects my body to the point that it prevents muscle building. All i was asking was how does it affect my body...like raise in estro, or a decrease in test, and so on...anything of that nature. i do appreciate you trying to help with your big brother advice, but i was looking for a more educated reply.
