Default Pre Mixing your Protein

I like to buy my protein in bulk. I also get annoyed with making a shake everytime I finish working out. I have lately been pre mixing my shakes and then just storing it in a jug in the fridge. I am sure this is ok but I have noticed some settling at the bottom. I don't want to lose any quality.

Also, what are you thoughts about putting your glutamine or creatine in with your protein. I have tried different routes?

I was always told not to premix your creatine. I yanked this from another site which should explain it:

Quote:
When creatine sits in a liquid for any extended length of time it will breakdown into creatinine. Creatinine is the end result of catabolized creatine. You don't want this to happen because it will render the effects of creatine useless by this breakdown into creatinine. This is why the liquid creatine supplements were never successful. They were faulty by design because creatine is very unstable in a liquid.

Yeah I was aware of pre mixing creatine, I was talking about adding it with your protein or with your glutamine

There should be no problem there as long as its unflavored. Fruit punch and chocolate don't go well together
I mix my glutamine and micronized creatine into my PWO drinks too. Just make sure to get some dextrose or other simple carbs to help the creatine absorbtion.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that about creatine. On occasion, I would pre-mix my protein drink, and creatine. I usually drink it within several hours.
