On the subject, I have some ginseng tea-w/o caffeine- Its primary ingredient is glucose. Would this serve as a good carrier, or does the glucose have to come from a different source, or be converted by the body??

According to one study that I read, 35g of carbs is the optimal dose. That should work depending on how much glucose is in it.

It is. But like I said, 'optimal'. I'm sure 20g will still work although uptake might not be as high. It also depends on the individual.

It depends. I use about 40-60g of WMS after workouts. It just depends on the intensity of the workout. If it's a leg day for instance, I'll be more inclined to use 60. Otherwise 40 will suffice. If you're a big guy, then you might want to do more. I assume the dosages will be similar between WMS & dextrose.
