also, you should eat about every 2-3 hours.

Its all well and good saying you should eat every 2-3 hours, but i simply don't have time. I can't just stop work and go eat, weekends is do-able, but how do you manage it in the week?

what do you do for a living if you don't mine me asking?

you can always find time to eat. even if you have just a protein shake.
example.

8:00 breakfast
11:00 shake
2:00 lunch
5:00 shake
8:00 dinner
11:00 shake

if you work a typical 8 hour day that is only 1 maybe 2 shakes you can prepare. you could even have the shake right when you leave work.
It doesn't have to be this specific example, it's just a guide.

I find your excuse for not having time to eat is weak. sorry but that's the truth.
If you want to gain good muscle you have to eat right or your just wasting time. Take some time this weekend and come up with a diet plan it's really not that hard. it only takes, depending on how detailed you want to be, 15 mins to an hour.

Thats fine then, when you said eat, i thought you actually meant eat, not have a shake, what you said is fine, its pretty much what i do any way, except i may have a couple of extra shakes. Oh and i work in a bank.

You can pack meals and bring them with you to work. They don't need to be big, a chicken breast, some veggies in a glad container and boom, easy fast meal.

You said earlier you wern't happy with a creatine cycle. You don't cycle creatine, you should take it year around. Also you should add some BCAA's to your pre workout shake and you can throw some in your post as well. As for extra protein, the point is not that your body may throw out unused protein, the point is that is available in your system when your body needs it. Depending on your training you teach your body to consume more protein.
