No I'm not saying it's comprehensive. I'm just saying a better source than no source. I mean otherwise all you get is assumptions.

I agree with you that it's probably useful to do the shake like you describe if it doesn't bother your gut. I agree that you're getting some protein from a convencience standpoint. But to say it's "beneficial" I don't know.

Yeah, haha I usually go back and read stuff again. I write too fast and then other things occure to me I wanted to say or SHOULD have said

I'm pretty satisfied that I've made the point I wanted to make on the raw egg issue. I can't really say much more about it.

BTW, heres a pretty cool website that goes into most of this very indepth and uses a bunch of scientific sources:

http://www.beyondveg.com/cat/research/index.shtml

I think this is actually a guy who used to be a raw foods type person but became more moderate...which is all I'm really talking about. Like I've said a million times people just have to go to EXTREMES on everything. I mean here you are just talking about raw eggs. Big deal right? I've got no real passionate problem with that in itself compared to the extremist nature of some of the sources like mercola and baker...

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

See what I mean! I got to your post 3 minutes late because I didn't see a page 4!

Sure, something can be better than nothing I suppose. And you're right, taking everyone's word for the benefits they experience is the same thing as clicking on NoXplode's customer feedbacks. I just don't feel comfortable with many sources and different websites all saying the same thing in their own words.. Yet if you look at the citation, everything is based of that single study.

Now it's time to mull over everything again and enjoy our handiwork! Maybe this payday I'll get a testing kit and get back to you!

BTW, on the cancer and pets thing. I'm not saying we don't necessarily expose them to carcinogens. I'm simply arguing against the sort of alarmist statement that without us they would be disease free! I guarantee we cure and prevent more disease in our pets than we cause.

I agree with that. There's a big difference between cracking some eggs in a protein shake twice a day and enjoying it vs. cracking 12 eggs in a sitting and downing it like the "Italian Stallion". They are beneficial raw like I take them or cooked (also like I take them) bioavailability aside.

Yeah, that's a very good point. It's a little annoying since people need to paraphrase and add little bits to it so you think your finding something new and it turns out to be the same old same old.

But it comes down to ONE thing. Hell, I made a whole thread about the subject. Always check the sources!

I guess I should make clear, to others since you probably already know this, that I am not convinced of anything on raw vs. cooked eggs. I basically am weighing SOME info vs. NO info, you know. When more info comes in then I will be weighing that as well.

Lol, don't waste too much time on that one! He sounds like there's a disease free utopia out on the horizon whose only secret to longevity and no sickness is "hittin' it raw!"

LOL, exactly. That's what I'm talking about. All this kinda alternative health stuff is always based on some "secret" that "they" don't want you to know.
