Default Retaining muscle size

First off just to give you and idea of my size I'm 5'10 and weigh about 130 lbs. I've been lifting for about 3 years and for my size I can lift a good amount of weight(I can rep 135 lbs on the bench about 12 times on a good day) However when I'm at the gym when I workout my muscles really get a lot bigger and I look pretty big. The next day it looks as if I didn't workout the day before and in some cases I look smaller then the day before. My muscles don't feel as tight and I just feel skinny and weak again. Can anyone explain why this is? How I can fix it? I appreciate the help.

FYI: I take black powder before I work out and try to have at least 1 60 gram wheybolic protein shake a day.
