Safe amount of calories on a cut?
I'm currently in the end of a cutting phase, I've put off 30lbs from my bulk and am down to around 1800 calories a day. I've noticed that I've kinda stalled lately, but I was worried about cutting lower than 1800 calories a day. I was wondering, is it safe to go a little bit lower than 1800 calories a day while on a cut?
I'm currently 150lbs at 5'8". I wanna lose a couple more pounds of bodyfat before the summers end and start a slow bulk. I currently do HIIT 3x a week, I was thinking of lowering my intake 10%.

Maybe you need to increase calories to keep losing... Post the diet history (starting calories, caloric reduction, what period of time, macronutrient ratio, etc).

He's already below maintenance...that would probably just get rid of muscle if my understanding is correct.

I started out at around 4600 calories when I finished bulking, I reduced it about 10 percent a week or so until I reached around 2800. Then I started reducing 10 percent every two weeks until I reached around 1800 calories. Thats where I am now and have been for about a month or so. This has been going on since March.

I started out at around 135 and put on about 40 lbs of mass, and lost about 25 actually. And here I am now. I wanted to lose some bodyfat and its usually easier for me to do that in the summer. I want to do a slow bulk over the fall but not gain nearly as much. Anyway, for now, I currently take in 1786 calories a day. Here are the stats:
Total: 1786
Fat: 43 387 23%
Sat: 8 72 4%
Poly: 8 74 4%
Mono: 14 126 7%
Carbs: 187 577 34%
Fiber: 42 0 0%
Protein: 186 745 44%
Alcohol: 0 0 0%
Trying to lose 4-5 lbs between now and whenever. Not in a rush to lose it. Any suggestions?

Are you eating clean? It doesn't sound like it.

I've been eating very clean. My carb sources come from brown rice, veggies, beans, fruits. My fat sources come from salmon, fish oil, natural PB etc. Protein from lean chicken. I get in about 4-5 meals a day.

that calorie intake seems really really low...even for a cut. especially if you're active.
