Default Sodium intake

Ok see i workout at home and i don't have the luxary of a cool temperature environment such as a gym. I was wondering if intaking too much sodium before a workout would result in over-heating/fatigue feeling during a workout. I noticed i do intake somewhat a considerable amount in my meal before my pre-workout meal. Im not sure if lately its the weather or lack of hydration in my body thats causing me to get wiped out so easily.
