Default Sodium intake

Ok see i workout at home and i don't have the luxary of a cool temperature environment such as a gym. I was wondering if intaking too much sodium before a workout would result in over-heating/fatigue feeling during a workout. I noticed i do intake somewhat a considerable amount in my meal before my pre-workout meal. Im not sure if lately its the weather or lack of hydration in my body thats causing me to get wiped out so easily.

You dont have air conditioning?

Sometimes back home in Indiana my gym was cheap during the summer and didnt turn on the AC. They decided opening all the doors and putting a couple fans around would be sufficient...needless to say it was cooking in there. I never felt any different energy wise, just more sweat.

Yeah something else is at work here.

The sodium shouldn't make you weak. It may help your body retain water to help prevent dehydration to a very limited degree if at all, and then only until your body regains balance.

Extra sodium's never a good idea but if you're healthy it won't hurt, at least it shouldn't make you weak. Make sure everything else is in line, diet, overtraining, age, etc. Any other unrelated health problems that may contribute to the fatique?? May be time for a check-up..

Well i started DFHT using all my maxes for the exercises...should have gotten used to the volume for the first week. First week went great though hit everything but i guess it was too much for the following week and not much progression happened. Ex. i couldn't reach my 5x5 bench properly had to drop it 5lbs. But im just going to run another SF 5x5 and try again.
