Question I like Powerade is it better to dilute the Powerade with water to cut down on the carbs/sugar etc..

Not to beat a dead horse but Gatorade is not "loaded" with high fructose corn syrup. And sugar is not evil in it's own right, especially when you are actively working out for long periods of time....which is when things like gartorade were meant to be used. It also contains glucose and sucrose (table sugar). The mix is there to give it the right osmolality. It it were just glucose or sucrose it would not absorb as quickly and also would not be as hydrating. I don't work for Gatorade or anything I just don't think it's fair to dismiss it as "crap". There is a reason for the way it's formulated.

Powerade and Gatorade are not the same either. The carb percentages are different and the osmololity are too. Some companies get all in depth trying to engineer some sort of super product but for a simple first generation product Gatorade works well and imo is a better product than powerade.
