come on sdf we can help him a little more then that.

Ok first things first, you need to realize that going from 260 to 180 isnt going to happen quickly. And if you want to do it and stay healthy, its gonna take six to eight months.

The other thing you want to start doing right now is planning your meals. I would suggest a low carb diet, and slowly dropping your cals. if you just stop eating your body will shut off your metabolism and thats bad. But take sunday, go shopping, plan out meals for the week, and get cooking.

next you want to figure out how much of each macro nutrient you should be taking in. There are alot of different ways to go about this, different diets say different things but here is what i would do. In order to keep any muscle you have, take in 230g of protien every day. keep your carbs below 40g so that your body moves into a ketonic state and burns fats instead of sugars for fuel. And to facilitate that end, take in atleast 100g of fats. keep a close eye on these numbers, and as you begin to lose wieght adjust them as you go.

Good advice given... I tell my freinds, write down what they eat for a week, then go over the foods/calories/ macros..... Then start to adjust.

To be specific,
1. write down what you eat.
2. Eat more whole foods, chicken, sweet pots...
3. Eat more often
4. tailor your meals to be P+C morning, and around workout, and PF meals others. as per daves clean bulk http://bodybuilding.net/showthread.php?t=5
tailor it to be a cut by setting at 500 cal under maint.

Once you have the basics of eating. Read up on carb cycling, or staggering diet. Have a hi cal day and low cal day to keep you bod guessing.

Basics first bro. Good luck on the weight loss.

I usually eat like 2 times a day large meals tho...Wasnt always this large bulked up for football but havent been able to lose...too used to eating bad foods. I want to complete my transformation in a year.

I researched the CKD diet on here actually but it was quite confusing. I know u have 5 or 6 low carb days then you go crazy on the other days but that I all I really know about it.

yeah your gonna want to start lifting. you dont want to lose muscle, so to that end get your ass in the wieght room hahahha.

When i'm cutting I use compound movements mostly, lift only 2 to 3 times a week, use a 5x5 routine, and go as heavey as possible.
