It says 2 tablets equal to 5grams so i take 2 pills after or b4 working out? The supplements cost over 100 dollars including the protein shakes.

it doesn't matter when you take them, so long as you take them.

And quit buying from GNC. What a waste of money. If it says on the box that it's equal to 5g of creatine monohydrate, but it's $40 for the small box and $75 for the big box, then why wouldn't you just buy some creatine monohydrate if it's 10 times as cheap. 250g is $8.99 at GNC and that's 50 servings. It's not any better.

Every research I read states that everyone is different in when creatine should be taken. Most suggest 30-45 minutes before your work-out with a small dose after. Also on your non-workout days take a dose in the morning and one at night to keep your levels up. I found some of the most interesting research was done by Albion International and their product. ** "I am in NO way associated, related or involved with Albion International" just to be up front.** Just thought their research was the most informative and detailed. BTW---powders over gels or pills 100%. Also be aware of all the "commercial" creatine on the market. Most are nothing but fillers, sweetners, and by-products ie: magnesium stuarate --which has no value to your body.

Most research on Creatine Monohydrate tends to agree on no more than 5g 4x/day.

Personally, I take it either pre-workout or post-workout to avoid soreness and don't bother the rest of the time. (Added bonus- jar lasts 4x longer!)

Part of the sport is learning your own body. There is an infamous anecdote about Bruce Lee wherein his senior pupils discovered a 'secret morning beverage' which the Teacher drank religiously every morning.

So, the senior students all drank the 'secret recipe' like the Teacher. It is reputed to have consisted of tomato juice, celery, Worcestershire sauce and large quantities of salt.

Within 3 months, the Teacher was confused while visiting his senior students in Hospital, until one confessed to the surveillance.

Master Lee was reported to say something along the lines of, "You are all stupid. MY diet is only for ME. There are NO shortcuts to Mastery!"

**Master Lee suffered from hypotension, or low blood pressure. The 'secret recipe' was a dietary prescription to RAISE his blood pressure.**

You have to experiment and learn what works for you. We are here to share what works for us and provide ideas for others to try. None of us have ALL of the answers.

Default Creatine

First and foremost--buy it in powder form next time. Buying creatine in pill form is just a waste of money. You are paying for capsule material instead of paying for creatine. Try Prolab micronized creatine--works for me.

I take 5-10 grams of creatine post workout. I don't think "loading" is really necessary.
