Default Little League Game

My sons Little League Team is playing there arch rivels today and every call the umps were making were bad and in their favor. I wasn't very happy about it nor was anybody else but that's the way it goes until the play at 3rd happended. What would of been a force out the kid on the other team instead didn't step on the bag and went for the tag instead. Our kid slid and the kid missed the tag. Our kid was safe but they called him out anyway and I just flipped. I mean this tag missed by a mile. They had to stop the entire game as I attempted to kill someone. This ump was going to die and everone knew it. I usually don't let this stuff bother me, after all it's just a game so I guess I'll blame it on Superdrol just to pass the buck but I flipped, made a huge scene. 3 guys at least had to keep me from killing him and I'm writing this just to destress. That's it. I feel better already, actually no I don't but I'll get over it. Bad thing is I'm sure this ump isn't going to give me to many call my way in the future and it wasn't a very good example for the kids. Good side is kids know I was right and was defending them so I guess we'll see.
That's it, just had to vent.

I thought I responded to this thread earlier, but anyways I would have done the same thing Dr.X. The only difference would be that it wont take 3 guys to hold me, about 1/2 will do.

My son is 12 years old. I've coached him (head coach or ass't) in everything he's done. In baseball he's gone from rec ball to weekend travelling to select. As with many other people, I've seen my share of good, bad, biased and outright cheating umps. For both sides. I've also seen my share of coaches and parents who have kept their cool and also ones who have lost it. I've also BEEN a player in these situations.

Though I am sure you know this deep down, but you were wrong to act the way you did. If this is in some organized league (actually Little League?) then expect to be banned for some period of time. If the organization doesn't ban you, then they are irresponsible in their duties.

Oh yeah... the umpire(s) involved also need to be reviewed. Oftentimes even the coach of the winning team will review an umpire negatively if it was as obvious as you state.
