Default Back in the game

I have been gone for a while. I hurt both of my upper calves and could do very little. Nothing torn, just bad pulls. I stopped going to the gym to let them heal and meanwhile got very busy and threw good nutrition out the door. Old habit came back quickly and I'm severly out of shape again. I'm back up to 260lbs with a fairly nasty gut.

I'm posting here to keep myself accountable on my re-start Monday. I will have weight loss as my emphasis. Weight training will be a very important part of this but I will use a higher paced, higher repped appoach. I am thinkng a super-set kind of deal.

Probably just a two set per exercise.

Diet is much more important to losing weight.

I'm assuming, tho' you want to lose fat, not weight! Expend more calories that you intake. Don't go crazy on the cardio and lift well.

Correct in the losing fat. With ensuring I am lifting properly the weight that comes off will be fat. And I do have the diet I was following before I turned evil.

your all set up man, clean slate. I say diet lightly (maybe only 200 cal below maintenance) so you can gain some strength back for a month or so and then cut.. you should be fine. glad to see you back in the game...

I fell off the horse, got my foot caught in the stirrup, and got dragged behind it through a briar patch.

Then I ate some cake.
