Do you guys ever get up in the morning and just look at your stove for a minute and think....wow, I REALLY don't want to cook this morning?

yeah, I did that today, but a little more than usual...and instead of making my usual big breakfast, I said fuck it and ate a bagel with jelly and coffee..

You just have to make it a routine so that you can kind of do it in a daze while you're not thinking about it. lol

I like to hard boil my eggs on the weekends so I don't have to cook in the mornings. Working first shift, I don't want to get up that early.

Yes the key is to prepare as much stuff as you can in mass quantities. It takes me about 15-20mins to put together my meals for the day at work as well as breakfast. Then every other day while I'm cooking my supper I prepare all the "bulk" items.

So for me it's like 20mins in the morning and 30 min at supper and maybe 45min - 1 hr at supper every other day. I probably spend less time cooking than a lot of ppl that eat much much less than I do just because I am efficient about it and have very simplified meal plans.

IW and I do things about the same. I cook extra so getting lunch on work days is all prepreped and ready to go. Limits that feeling.
