I'm really glad all this worked out. But now I'm gonna have to chew you out .

Didn't I pretty much tell you most of that IN-DEPTH and didn't you tell me you had it under control? Not every little detail but the general crux? You said you had a plan for rehab. I provided you with materials. Stop saying your doing something you don't have any intention of doing. Kapeesh? LOL, I even remember warning you away from Powercleans and specifically from the ouside activities that may be doing cummulative damage. Next time you want help I'm gonna have you sign a contract! At least listen to the doctor, ok? Git your head out your ass, boy.

On the prohibited exercises no big loss. With side laterals I actually think they have some use, especially for those with shoulder problems from a therapeutic standpoint if you do them the right way. They can be used to balance out a program. say if you don't have any OHP's you can put some light side laterals in there. It's not a weight thing. The load is not as important as the same general reps. Instead of doing them straight out to the side, which would be bad for you bring your arms in about thirty degrees toward the middle and point your THUMBS UP. Very light weight. Don't worry too much about progression or anything. In this position they would actually be of some use to you IF you need them in a program. In the program you listed you don't need them. On a day with say bench, pullups, but no overhead, that would be a good place for a few very light sets.

Now, glad everything is looking brighter!

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

dude, i did do all those exercises! i just didnt do them for long...i think i did them for 1 month and then i stopped because i thought once i begin weightlifting i wont need to do them....i wish i had asked u though, because that might have saved me 5 hours of intense pain...

u know, i was thinking about this to be honest...i was trying to list the factors which are responsible for this problem...i mean, what could have aggrevated it?

so here the list goes:
1.) i started playing raquetball for 3-4 hours a week. my should used to burn after playing but i thought it was the "pump". mistake #1
2.) i started tennis along with raquetball and the serve used to kill me...shouldve listened to my body...
3.) i did upright rows while on dc...big no-no
4.) did heavy side raises while on dc. bad
5.) i did incline dumbbell presses. this must have aggrevated it a lot. i cant do DB work..
6.) i did seated dumbbell military presses. i think this was the key because i am not to do single arm shoulder work with dumbbells because this can backfire
7.) i did alternate arm standing dumbbell shoulder presses. same as above.
8.) i did some swimming....may not be solely responsible, but it did add to the injury
9.) i did judo (a few years ago) all too religiously
10.) i played squash 4 days a week for 1 hour each session for 2 years straight. could have even turned pro because i was ebing coached by india's #2 ranking player...but i liked weightlifting better haha..fuck, i wish i hadnt done so much squash

thats all i can come up with now, but i know what i am NOT supposed to do....i really need to think before i do something....no more impulsiveness....i cant let my shoulder pop out again. not today, not tomorrow, not ever....i dont want a surgery...

oh thanks for the tips sir... i ordered the therabands yesterday and i think they should be here next week early....i hope so....without them i can only do 7 of the 12 rehab exercises...

i was thinking, when i spoke to the doc he said i can do them whenever i want....i asked him if i could do them after my workout...i just remembered: something else turned up and he never answered my question damnit! but his assistant did say i should do them in the mornings everyday...so i think thats cool....since i was only showed the exercises, i went home that day and wrote them out...the descriptions are kind wierd but i understand perfectly....so i am all good to go!

I think it's defintely all those outside activities that were the biggest problem. ESPECIALLY the raguetball and tennis.

The therabands should be great. Rehab can be easily overdone though because you are putting a lot of focus on very small and weak muscles...more so that when you do regular work. I don't believe that rehab for shoulders should ever be done after any shoulder exercises in your regular routine but it should be ok to do after bench.

You really should have a physical therapist guiding you. Any way you can get hooked up with one back in the states?
