No, the typical cheap "energy" drink containing caffeine and lots of carbs (and maybe vitamins) I don't think need extensive warning. That wouldn't make sense. But these combinations of strong herbs and different stimulants as you say are a different thing. And they are beginning to be marketed more extensively. You referred to them as "simple drinks" so I was just responding to that.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Ive had the grade speed shot before, same thing as the lipo6/caf thing... when taken on a empty stomach it makes my stomach all messed up... and with the speed shot dont they reccomend you only drink half at a time or something like that

Something that should be recognized when comparing energy drinks to coffee is that coffee is usually sipped slowly. Energy drinks can contain large amounts of stimulants and they tend to be ingested more quickly. It may be nothing for a typical coffee drinker to sip a 24 ounce coffee...but if he or she wants to see the difference they can pound back a shot of espresso or two. It's a much bigger kick when you take it quick like that and that's without the added stimulants working synergistically (which haven't been studied for shit, btw so drink at your own risk).

The 5 Hour Energy drink is pure crap, at least it didn't do anything for me. It's a 2oz shot, with vitamins caffeine and other stuff. Label Info Here Why the hell would they put 8333%, or even 2000%, of your DV of a vitamin in there??

I got a quick rush from the caffeine, since I have weened myself away from Mountain Dew, but other than that there were no noticable effects. I still went to bed at the same time just as tired as always. I took it in the evening to see if it would make me stay up longer.
