Fished for 5 hrs yesterday. Fished for three today. Gonna fish for like 10 hrs tomorrow (okay, maybe not 10). It's gonna be hot tomorrow, and after the gym, I'm heading out to the rocks with my pole, some bait, some cooked chicken breasts, a book and a gallon or two of water. Gonna bask in the sun, and read and eat and fish. I may even break down and bring some beers (it's been a while).

Tough life, I know. ;)

Well, fished for eight hours today in the beautiful sunshine! It was slow for the first few hours and then it picked up. Caught 7 bluefish. Two were tiny, four pretty decent and one huge one (about 8#).

I have such a tough life. ;-)

Can't you fish form the shore or bank (not sure where you fish)?

Today I switched it up and fished for Fluke. Got a couple of short ones. Then a thunderstorm rolled it...Damn, almost like a tornado! Then it got nice again and I went back out. A couple of small fluke and a couple of sea robbins...

Sometimes it depends. I like fishing where I do because I like to cast my big pole (no jokes!). It's a 12' Shakespear UglyStik. I can really wing it out there!

Also, we make kinda like a campsite, with some chairs (sometimes) and all the equpiment around at arms reach. We can walk around and talk tot he other fishers. If I have to take a dump, I'm home in 2 mins (less if I run!). If we need more bait or gear, the store is even closer.

I do like being on the boat, too. But from land, it's a heckuva lot easier to set up and clean up. Don't have to worry about the gas. If the weather turns bad quickly (like it did yesterday--we had a wicked bad thunderstorm rip through here!), like I said before, I'm home in 2 mins.
