well i usually just throw out my car and buy a new one, they arent that expensive. ive never had this problem but why not buy some of that incense stuff and burn a stick in your car with all of the windows closed im sure that the smell of the incense would absorb into the carpets and seats (make sure u get a scent u like) might work, and it would look really kool to see your car filled with smoke lol

Okay...I'll repost my advice from the shaker bottle>>>

Burn it in effigy and buy a new one...change is good sometimes. Besides, I find it very theraputical to burn something once in a while that has pissed me off.
Hope this helps,

caveat: have good insurance

A SERIOUS SUGGESTION THIS TIME:

Take the car to a detailer. See what he has to say. If I remember correctly, they shampoo'd my car when I had it detailed.

Alright, try this. Vinegar. Take a bowl/cooking pan - more long than deep, the greater surface area the better. Put a cup or three of vinegar in pan. Let it sit overnight or when you are not driving. It should start to pull up some smell.

Febreese does work, all it is is cornstarch. A better option, throw cornstarch all over the car. and vacum the hell out of it. use a sho vac or something strong, if cornstarch gets wet in carpet, its not fun.

Find the cause of the smell.
Apply bacteria/enzyme digester to the affected area with a sponge or rag. This product kills odors by destroying bacteria.

If its not gone.... bring it to a detailer. They have met smelly cars before.
