Default Getting the odor out of a shaker bottle

Well, by accident, I left a shaker bottle in my bag for about a week, and man, does it reek.

Any ideas how I can get the odor out?

Have you tried washing it out already with dish soap or something and waiting for other suggestions or have you not tried anything yet.

Sometimes I used to forget to drain my canteens after a field ops. The only thing that I found works is a mixture of bleach and water. Don't use alot of bleach and rinse it out a bunch of times before use. Obviously....

I never measured. I guess it doesn't matter.

Talking You could try....

When I do this..(forget to rinse out my shakers), I just put dish soap in, shake it around, and rinse it. Then I put more dish soap in again, shake it around a lot, then leave it over night. I rinse it out a few times the next day and it's usually fine.

Burn it in effigy and buy a new one...change is good sometimes. Besides, I find it very theraputical to burn something once in a while that has pissed me off.
Hope this helps,

I don't know what it is but sometimes when you do that it just burns into the plastic. Just do as your doing and soak it then run it through the dishwasher. Otherwise it's a dead solider and you have to get a new one.
