Hey ross idunno what HIIT is I just used to box and cardio was the longest sickest part of training. I would hit the bike in the gym stair stepper and treamill then go on a 3 to 5 mile run in the first 4 weeks of training by the end of the 6th week it was fight time the way i saw it then as my trainer put it to me 1 mile earns you 1 round bye the end of 6 weeks if you cannot run 12 miles in a day you cannot finish a 6 round fight. As a ameture fighter all of your fights are between 4 and 6 rounds so I always tryed to double everything so I would be the last man standing..I was 64 wins 23 loses and 2 draws I had an olympic tryout in 1988 and lost the spot to a fighter who ended up in the final fight for the spot againt T-spoon tyrel witherspoon who got the spot...Cardio bro stamina all day but must eat!
