Make sure your form is in check and you're not going too heavy on some exercises! You may feel like 25 yrs old again but your body may not be up to par! Joint supplement will help and try to choose exercises that arent too strenuous on joints!

I could be wrong, but I doubt it's his form if he has lifted since 19. Could be wrong though, sound like age.
