Default Palmeiro Busted for Roids

Check it out: http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slu...v=ap&type=lgns

Yet another role model exposed, the only one from that hearing that I trust never used roids or anything similar is Frank Thomas.

According to Baltimore Sun through ESPN (I'm watching)-He already knew about his positive test way back in May, but secretely appealed it June. That means that when he hit his 3,000th hit, he knew he did it with a failed steroid test.

You know what? Who cares? Anyone accuse Lou Brock of using uppers when he stole all them bases? Maybe, just maybe, he had some extra energy when he stole a base or two after the seventh inning. Guys in the 60's 70's and 80's used them all the time.

Upper's won't make any real significant difference compared to Winstrol. This steroid is known for making people develop significant strength. The difference between upper's and steroids are astounding. Now, steroids won't help you hit the ball obviously, that's hand-eye coordination. However, it will triple your recovery abilities (they play ALOT of games, sometimes back to back) and if you are able to hit the ball, it will make for a MUCH more powerful swing.

Unfortunately this isn't the 70's when noone cared. Nowadays, steroids are rampant in professional sports. Ban's are getting passed and the FCC is in full swing patrolling the media. I feel that if everyone else has to dump their stash, so should he.

Steroids wouldnt be so bad could make baseball more exciting. Now heres a few ideas none of which would ever workout but yea.
1) Make the field longer base-base and distance needed for a homerun be increased.
2) Make ball smaller
3) Tackling allowed
4) Metal bats
5) Thinner bats
just a few some I know wouldnt workout but could be fun for a game.

I'm biased. Even with baseball players hitting roids, it still would be too boring. Here's the way I see it:
(pitcher looks at catcher for a pitch sign)-15 seconds
(pitcher looks around the bases, then scratches balls)-20 seconds
(pitcher throws to first instead of finally pitching)-10 seconds
(pitcher gets ball back, then repeats above 2 steps)-35 seconds
(pitcher FINALLY pitches the ball)- ball 1!
From this point, say the batter finally hits it. popped to the infield. All that waiting sucking down some beer and nothing happens. I hate baseball. Football is God.
