I personally like dog's but cats are pretty cool too (gotta love those pussies ). But I don't really want to have one of my own again. I grew up with a dog form before I could remember. He was like 16-17 when we put him down. That was harder on me then losing friends and other relatives. That dog was part of my family, kind of like a brother.

I had a couple of cats too at one point, but one ran away and one got into traffic. They were pretty cool for cats. Loosing any of my pets bothered me more than I would have thought but they were like family too.

I totally understand about your dog being family, as I feel the same way about my dogs. My dogs are like my furry kids to me. I will never have any kids, so these little furry ones will take their place.

You have squirels for pets? Did you buy them from the petstore or capture and train them?

I had a boxer for a little while in college, but dogs and frat houses dont mix. so he had to go to a better home. Once I get settled and grow my ass up a little bit I'm gonna get a pit. I have a few friends with pits and i love em. But i gotta be able to take care of myself first before i take responsibility for an animal.

If I have a choice to have anything as a pet, I would get me a T-rex, otherwise I prefer dogs, at least they are loyal, and dont run away like male cats.

We used to have cats, they are ok... but nothin can compare to a dog, atleast you can run with them and play ball etc, even though our og is so camp he will no move and is known as "cute" lol, i have a budgie, it was either that or a rat i thought a budgie would be something different, hes ok trained well lol

We are actually a animal recuse family.
Our pets consist of 1 Lab, 5 cats, 1 Guinne Pig, and 1 55gallon tank of fish. We are currently taking care of a beautiful 5 month old German Shepard that we rescued. Were actually low on our animal quota right now.
