I haven't tried that. Sometimes I'll get something like broccoli cheddar rice in a box....or the cajun rice blend. And I'll buy some cheap cuts of chicken. Then cut up the chicken & cook the rice and chicken together. It's the easiest thing to cook.

Got the $20 one.

It can cook anything as it works as a steamer also... Not a bad investment. Small and easy to bring to work.
