Default Size Calculator

Have you guys used this size calculator over at the hypertrophy-specific board? Pretty useful to waste some time at your desk job at least...

Supposedly it can use your wrist, ankle, and height measurements in inches to predict how big you can get naturally at 8%. Definately isn't 100%, but it's a good motivational tool.

If you don't have a tape measurer, just click here and print one out.

I measured 8.0 wrist, 10.8 ankle, and I'm 69.5 inches tall (I also have blue eyes and a rapist's wit )

Told me I could get to be 228 lbs, 52.6" chest, 18.1" arms, and 28.3" thighs. My arms certainly are bigger than "predicted", but at 8% bodyfat it may be correct afterall! I'm bigger now, but I'm double the bodyfat, so who knows.

One of the flaws I can see with it is the ankle measurements. I know from the military that sprinters have really tiny ankles whereas long distance runners have really thick ankles. Be that as it may, enjoy!

interesting I would be:

At 8% Bodyfat
Lean body weight: 228
Chest Size (inches): 52.6
Upper Arms Size (inches): 18.4
Forearms Size (inches): 14.7
Neck Size (inches): 18.13
Thighs Size (inches): 27.9
Calfs Size (inches): 18.9

very interesting. My legs are very close to that number so I don't know how accurate this is, but like 0311 said, the BF% is a factor.

You guys are getting these big weights but it told me I can't way more than 176 at 8%. I am so glad I didn't see anything like this before. Since I passed that a mile back while hovering between 8 and 10 percent (and I'm being conservative) I'm glad I didn't have it to discourage me. I have thin ankles and wrists and truthfully I look pretty big at 176 but I wasn't satisfied.

It's fun but that stuff is based on 1970's predictors and since then it has been learned that you can't tell much at all from one or two measurements. I probably have come pretty close to my limit if I don't put on some more body fat though. I could post some more reliable predictors but I don't want to ruin everyone's fun!

Eric I would say post them, but only after I give you my current ankle/wrist/height measurement and you make sure that your calculator says I can get bigger than what 0311's calculator says. Just to boost my ego you know Don't wanna find out I'm gunna be smaller

I measured 7" wrist, 9" ankle

Lean body weight: 197.6
Chest Size (inches): 47.4
Upper Arms Size (inches): 16.9
Forearms Size (inches): 13.6
Neck Size (inches): 16.74
Thighs Size (inches): 24.5
Calfs Size (inches): 16.6

I'm so close to these measurements its not even funny. I'm roughly 12%bf and everything is within like half an inch. The only thing thats way off is lean mass (I'm at 185) and my chest is only 45".

So if this is my max potential at 197lbs @ 8%bf...and I'm there at 185lbs @ 12%bf....just imagine how fuckin jacked I'll be when I actually reach 197!
