There’s a new space for discussing the future of enhancement of the human body and mind called Technolife. The aim of the project is to improve public debate on how to meet future challenges and at the same time have a greater number of voices heard within the political and regulatory systems. A number of technologies can make people “normal” or “better than normal”. For instance, there were already discussions about the use of prostheses in the Olympic games. Other examples are plastic surgery and other types of anti-aging treatments that are becoming increasingly common in people’s life, or drugs to improve skills or behaviour. Citizens, youngsters, technology developers, athletes, health practitioners and policy-makers, are just some of the groups that are being invited to take part of the process.
The participation is open to all interested people.
