Default Theme's




Here are two theme songs that sound very much alike...thought it was interesting, cause anytime I whistle them to my kids or whoever they can't tell the difference.

I don't think they sound alike at all. Are you sure you're a good whistler?

They were both written by the same composer though and I think they both draw on similar influences so of course they are going to have a similar tone.

Man. Superman theme is hard to whistle.

Oh, no I got it. It's just really hard to whistle along to the recording

They were written about a year apart I think? I can see how they would sound similar. Same guy, same time period. And the Star Wars theme kind of set a stage so you can see them going,
'give us something like that'.

Well, I have a confession. My mom had the Star Wars 8-track and I used to listen to it when I was a kid. So I've really heard it a lot more than some.

I'm not embarassed. That's awesome music.
