Holy shiznet.......That sucks!!

That's why a wear headphones. I can listen to my own music. Plus, it keeps people from coming up to me, and asking me stupid questions. "Is that heavy?" "No, my veins stick out like this in my forehead all the time!"

The music in the gyms depends on the type of gyms you go to. Gyms specifically for lifters tend to have at least some good classic rock on. On the other hand if more than half the gym is cardio equipment (like LifeTime Fitness) then you can expect crap and should bring your own shit. Or at least thats been my experience from my different gym memberships.

Depends on my mood and workout.

80s Mode
Firehouse
Iron Maiden
WASP
Skid Row
Mr. Big

Trance Mode
Tiesto
Paul O
Mauro Pic

Sometimes I work out to hard rock
Whitesnake, Bon Jovi .

Anything really that lifts me up. I used to workout to melodic death metal, but that just got me angry. I focused on beating the shit out of the person who was using my bench instead of my own workouts.

Slayer I hear ya on the death metal, I can only stand that while working out maybe once a month...used to listen to Shadows Fall, Nile, Obituary, etc.

Current stuff: hardcore and punk, the stuff I grew up with and always need to hear....Black Flag, Misfits, Minor Threat, Slapshot, Judge, Anthrax, etc.

Good stuff. My bro spins hard, progressive, and DnB, Ill buy some hardcore or vocal vinyl if I see something I want him to play. I prefer euro and vocal trance. Workouts - We usually pop in a mix CD, or tune into partyradio.ca . They also have live, trance, R&B, 80's, rock, jungle, and industrial streams there. A place to check out for online music. I find all my music at http://www.eurodanceparty.com, eurodancehits.com, and a bunch of other sites.

My bro cant stand my workout music. If Im alone Ill play Happy hardcore, Lownoise, Sy, Cloud, and sooo many others, or Ill play hardcore Thunderdome stuff, just stupid hard. Quick beats, pounding bass.
