I just tried it the docs way today and its much easier then the way I used to do it.
Ass back like Squat rx. Doing it your way would be the exact same thing as a SLDL, so why bother? Just be sure that while your knees are slightly bent, you do NOT start squatting the weight up.

DE SQUAT

Flat DB Press: 45 x (4 x 15)
- Plus 5 lbs, still extremely easy.

Banded Squats: 225 (+ Lights) x (8 x 2)
- Went a lot lighter because my lower back is still sore from the GM's.

Dimel Deadlifts: 225 x 20
- Super fast for the last 6 reps. But, lol, my back said no, and I listened.

Bulgarian Squats: 35's x 10, 10
- Easier on the back. Did these ballistically, no rest between sets.

Standing Abs: 4 sets heavy

Leg Raises: 2 x 10

That was the exact same thing I was thinking when I read the question. Although the obvious difference would be where the weight is compared to sldl's. But I think to some extent you can compare the two styles to romanians versus sldl's..

I see Pity already pointed that out as well. LOL everybody is ON.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Yeah straight leg GMs would be like SLDL but harder because of the mechanical disadvantage of the weight positioning I would think. I'm just basing this off of my knowledge of physics/mechanics.

DE BENCH: Last week of pin pressing.

Flat DB Press: 50 x (4 x 15)
- No warmups. Still very easy.

Banded Speed Bench: 185 (+ Lights) x (9 x 3)
- Last week in the rack. Glad too because I hate walking into the gym and waiting for it lol.

JM Press: (4 x 6) 115, 135, 155, 165

Elbows Out Extensions: 30 x 15, 15

Upright Rows: 100 x 10, 10, 10, 10
- 60 seconds

Reverse Pec Dec: 120 x 12, 12, 12
- 60 seconds

I just wanted to add that tomorrow will be my first day at OCSC for ME Squats. What I'm thinking about doing from now on (since Tuesday's off is never a given for me) is to move max squatting to Thursday's which I always have off, and put my max bench on Saturday's. I'm in the process of getting a few more bands, and chains I've found for $100 a few miles away from my house. Aside from football bar presses, I don't NEED max bench at OCSC like I would with my lower body (since they have reverse hypers, platforms, bars, ect).

Just makes more sense.
