just like I posted in the begining... I didn't want to change it too much just so my numbers are consistent for one month. I'm a hell of alot stronger so that's one goal I'm happy with. so now I'm going to up it 300-500 cals. and see what happens.

Wednesday's Workout

WORKOUT:

Standing Military Press: 3x3 @ 170lbs
Weighted Pull Ups: 3x3 @ Body Weight + 15lbs
Deadlifts: 3x3 @ 320lbs
Incline Curls: 2x10 @ 45lbs

Standing Military Press: I did Barbell Cleans as a warm up. My balance as greatly improved in this exercise, it is def. from doing the Olympic lifts for warm ups and taking a wider stance. I'm only going to go up 10-15lbs next lift depending on how I feel.

Weighted Pull Ups: Nothing to report.

Deadlifts: I felt real good on this. On the last set I decided to try something different and did the set a little narrow of sumo stance with my hands closer. It felt awesome not only did I feel the stretch but my whole back seemed to flex harder. Going to try doing sumo stance first and then regular and see what happens.

Dumbbell Curls: Nothing special

SUPPLEMENTS
Nothing to report.

DIET
Going to up the Cals. by 300 so I can start gaining more weight.

OVERVIEW
OK, I'm adding more Cals to my diet because I didn't gain as must weight as I thought I would from doing the 5x5 and MMA. But now that I'm not going to be doing MMA for about 2-3 weeks because of my injury, I think my body will recover nicely. As always I'll keep you guys posted.

Friday's Workout

WORKOUT:

A2G Squats: 3x3 [1x3] @ 325, 345, 365lbs
Incline Bench: 3x3 @ 230lbs
JS Rows: 3x3 @ 215lbs
Dips: 2x10 @ Body Weight + 100lbs

A2G Squats: My numbers keep going up I feel real good on these lifts. I'm going to space it out by 20lbs. because I'm only doing 3x3. So by the end I will be squatting 405lbs., A2G.

Incline Bench: I think I'm really starting to feel strong on this. I'm going to go up, hopefully 15lbs. We'll see. ;)

JS Rows: Really worked on the negative on the last rep of all the sets. Same warm up (Barbell hanging cleans).

Dips: I just love dips. I could do them all day.

SUPPLEMENTS
Nothing to report.

DIET
Starting yesterday, I've upped my Cals. to 3500. Pro 266gms. carbs 348gms, and fat 117gms. all the same foods as before just more.

OVERVIEW
I'm finally starting to see results in the bench area. squats are always good. and rows are coming along nicely.

Dave, I'm VERY impressed with your progress! I've yet to see progress like yours in anyone..Besides myself!

I find a lot of motivation from your journal to take the next step in my A2G squats trying to keep up with you. For instance, tomorrow I'm supposed to do 265 for my 5 sets of 5 reps...But now I know I need to aim higher to keep pace!! 275 it may be!

BTW, pm me with your email because I've got a great spreadsheet of my upcoming training evolutions I want to share with you.. You might get some good ideas from it.

Monday's Workout

WORKOUT:

A2G Squats: 3x3 @ 355, 365, 365lbs.
Flat Bench: 3x3 @ 295lbs.
JS Rows: 3x3 [1x3] @ 210, 225, 240lbs
1 Armed DB Overhead Extensions: 2x10 @ 45

A2G Squats: I F'ed up a little. After my first working set I thought I was off by 10lbs. so I upped the weight. But after looking at my progress and seeing what I was suppose to do I was right the first time BUT I did the weight and it wasn't that bad. I'm going to stick it and see what happens.

Flat Bench: I increased 20lbs and was able to do it without a spotter. The last set was a little harder so I don't know if I'll do 20lbs increase again but who knows I may feel real good again.

JS Rows: Man was the last set hard. I think I might have hit the wall with this one. I might go up 15lbs.

1 Armed DB Overhead Extensions: Felt like trying something different. I was tired so I didn't go that heavy.

SUPPLEMENTS
Nothing to report.

DIET
Going very well.

OVERVIEW
I think taking some time off MMA is proving to be very beneficial to my lifts. I hope to put on more weight after this month.

Default MMA update

I got back from the doctors and he said No MMA for another 2 weeks. :( He doesn't want me to reopen my cut.
What does this mean?

It means that I will be doing moderate jogging on my off days and start MMA right after my 5x5 is over. So, my weight should dramatically increase. As always I'll keep you guys updated.

Wednesday's Workout

WORKOUT:

Standing Military Press: 3x3 @ 185lbs
Weighted Pull Ups: 3x3 @ Body Weight + 20lbs
Deadlifts: 3x3 @ 340lbs
EZ Bar Curls: 3x10 @ 85lbs

Standing Military Press: I did 2 Barbell Snatches and one Clean as a warm up. Now I know I said I was only going up 10-15lbs. for this lift, but I felt sooo good I went the whole 20lbs. and next lift will be the same.

Weighted Pull Ups: Felt a lot stronger than last time on this lift. Going to stick with 5-10bls. increase.

Deadlifts: I was tearing this up. :smileysex5: I wanted to go up in weight but held back. I might do it for my last lift. And I do these without wrist wraps.

EZ bar Curls: Wanted to do an extra set of curls so I lowered the weight a little and went to town.

SUPPLEMENTS
Nothing to report.

DIET
On Valentine's day I ate so much steak it was unbelievable.

OVERVIEW
I weighed myself today and MMA was holding me back. But I'm not going to tell you how much I’m weighing in at... You guys have to come back for something.
