So long as you have carbs at a meal or two before your workout, you won't necessarily need to supplement with carbs in your PrWO shake.
Really?

Ok, I thought that was what you were supposed to eat pre WO..

So just protein and some fats?

ditch the waxy maize in your pre shake....leave it in, in your post shake.

Yeah, I just did that once, cause I was pressed for time, didn't want to have to wait an hour before heading to the gym.. :)

I use to use WM before and during my workout . The best thing is you don't have to wait to feel it. But that was when I was trying to put on some weight.

Journal's looking good man !

When I'm being strict, I don't have fat in my pre workout shake..it will just slow the digestion/absorption of that protein.

Last week I had a Big Mac, fries, and a coke immediately before my workout. Do as I say, not as I do. :D
